Overview
The case study discusses the impacts of climate change on rural communities and rural women in the Philippines as well as on agriculture, forestry and fishery. It provides an overview of Philippines' mitigation and adaptation strategies and explores local and global financing policies and mechanisms including the CDM, GEF, Asia Development Bank. It provides recommendations for a holistic, pro-poor and gender-sensitive financing of climate change mitigation and adaptation in the country.
